From the very beginning, even at a young age, Chuck was a car guy. After his stint in the Army, he worked at several gas stations and small garages before moving up to dealerships, all the while earning many certifications along the way. He spent several years working at one of the largest Chrysler dealers in Summit County. It was during this time he decided to branch out on his own.

The year was 1976 and Chuck's Automotive was born.

In 1995, his son Chris began working on a part time basis and then joining the family business full time in 2001.
